State of Growax
The State of Growax was a totalitarian fascist dictatorship that existed from 1929 to 1946 and was lead by Roland Botrel. In April 1929, Botrel, an army field marshal, along with other military leaders, lead a fascist coup against the monarchy and current king, Gordon IV, who had grow very unpopular with the people for losing the First World War. When Botrel and his fascist party took power, they came to massive support from the people as they supported a revival in nationalism, industry, and military strength. The monarchy was abolished and Gordon was executed. The State began a massive rearmament and industrialization program. Botrel promoted the ideas of the old Growax hatred for the Valerian Empire, especially after their bloody and humiliating defeat at the end of the First World War. By the time World War II began in September 1939, Growax was an industrial, economic, and military powerhouse. During the first months of the war, Growax made massive gains and the state seemed unstoppable. However, as the war dragged on, the Growax forces were pushed back and casualties grew higher. The army fought all the way back to the capital city of Growax itself. The people also fought on. But, on September,18, Botrel was killed while leading a group of soldiers, seeing the leader of their nation dead, the people and remaining soldiers surrendered, ending the State of Growax.

The State of Growax was a one-party fascist state where the Growax Fascist Party was in control and the dictator had supreme authority over the government. All opposition parties were banned and speaking against the state or the fascist party would have you arrested for treason.
