Marshal of the Air Force Pierre Gribelin
Marshal of the Air Force Pierre Gribelin was a Growax air force commander, pilot, and head of the National Growax Air Force, the air force of the state of Growax, from 1929 to his death in 1946. Pierre was a veteran of the First World War, serving as a fighter pilot and was considered an ace pilot. Gribelin was very good at managing and improving aircraft production and aircraft usage in combined arms operations, working closely with the head of the army, Field Marshal Anatole Chardin, to work out how aircraft would support ground forces. The air force under Gribelin's command would prove to be a fierce competitor and opponent to the Valerian Imperial Air Force. The Marshal was killed on September,12,1946, when he decided to personally lead a squadron of Growax fighters against a Valerian bomber formation during the Battle of Growax. He would shoot down several Valerian aircraft before being shot down himself and dying in the crash.
