Wisp Dragons

Wisp Dragons are a draconic species, mostly located in Aerava. So named for their long, fluttering wings, which are much more narrow and elongated than other winged dragons, Wisp dragons are also less intelligent, with their mental aptitude being more on par with a wyverns. Colors vary, but generally are hues of the sky, such as turquoise, violet and navy. Wisp dragons boast decent strength, serrated claws and a breath weapon unique to them. Scales that fall off of the Wisp Dragon during grooming will fall into a specialized organ, which propelled with the powerful air currents of it's breath, will cut through everything but the toughest armor. The wisp dragon, however, despite it's flight endurance is actually a rather fragile beast, and easy to confuse with organized tactics.

The wisp dragon spends most of it's life hunting in the sky, only landing for breeding season, around the bloom season in Aerava. During this, Wisp Dragons become even more territorial, and will often settle in Windlost Buildings {Temples}, towns and even Sky Driver Ports. Needless to say, this creates much havoc and often requires intervention from Adventurers.
