The Festival of Summer's Peak

In the Terr'ainan cities such as The Metal City, Cuciler, a summer solstice is an important event for all it is the day that farmers pick all of their current crop, that miners and workers get off to spend time with their family, and that children get to play in the brightly lit streets. The Festival of Summer's Peak is a day long celebration, with traditions such as delicious traditional foods made from the year's crops, such as Melon cakes, Eggplant noodles, veggie empanadas, and sugary tomato dumplings. Fireworks are also quite the affair, with someone from each city often coordinating with nearby cities to release fireworks all across the land at one time. Terr'ainan Nomadic People will sometimes come into cities, bearing gifts for children and goods to sell at the markets, while other groups, far away from civilization enjoy the nationwide fireworks, despite their isolation. All people seem to come together for The Festival of Summer's peak, and cooks and merchants make sure all go home with full bellies, even those who can't usually afford to. The fireworks, the decoration and the livelihood of the night are only the visible aspects of the fesitival - the real celebration is the feeling of being together with others.
