Sumishaa

Sumishaa, deity of helpful force, gentleness, and wind, is one of the most beloved deities in Ealamkha'fif, even among the people of Kaiyocea and Terr'Aina. A gentle, childlike deity, who is known for her helpful breezes and guiding winds. Usually she takes the appearance of a small feminine child, aged about 10 - 13, but she has been seen as an older, motherly figure, and even a wispy young adult. Known to have a sunny and enthusiastic personality, often trying excessively hard to be helpful. These tendencies have led to some of her most famous stories, especially ones entailing her misunderstanding what others need. Anura and Sumishaa interact much like younger and older sister - except sometimes Sumishaa seems to be much older and wiser than her "older" sister. These two surprisingly rarely butt heads, with Anura usually letting Sumishaa control most of the matters of Aerava.   Sumishaa demands no particular organized religious group, and encourages only occasional worship. Temples are built to gain her favor in large, urban areas, but more commonly travelers will find Flanna, floating shrines, built on skystone and left to travel freely. It is seen as a good omen to happen upon one of these, especially in a time of need. Often made of concentric rings, with small pillar in the center, topped with dangling charms, left to flow in the wind. Flowing talismans are often associated with Sumishaa, and most Sky Driver crews have some sort of superstitious marker for good wind, merchants will be seen wearing hats with flowing fabric for good luck, and even Aeravan soldiers have military badges that are ribbonlike, which flow behind them as they march.
