Sil'su

Sil'su is the deity of ephemerality, especially of beauty and life. She also serves as the metaphorical "sister" to Eletum, representing the Pale Moon, and the maintainer of the balance between physical and spiritual. This makes Sil'su a rather spread out deity, invoked for many and important things, making her fairly popular, especially in Terr'Aina . She is often portrayed as a tired soul, always working herself to the bone. Graceful and elegant, but vanishing before too long in stories and myths, often after helping a hero or solving a problem. Many see Sil'su as a very relatable deity, especially compared to many others who exist as paragons of lofty ideals.
Sil'su is very old, perhaps even more so then deities such as Bavi'kaan or Sumishaa. While not as renowned for intelligence as Ahkta, or strategy as Bavi'kaan, her wisdom is unparalleled. For Terr'aina in particular, she serves as a protector of sorts, her temples providing shelter for the fatigued and serving as an Exorcists' deity, alongside Tianwa, of Soul. In many old myths, she is heavily associated with death, or the path to becoming a spirit, wielding a crescent scythe and taking souls to the beyond.
It is said that long ago, a young girl, neglected and hurt by the world, prayed for Death to take her, to end her misery. Death took pity upon her, and instead of taking her life, took her as an apprentice, for it's body was worn and mind was tired. The girl proved to be exceptional. She knew other's pain, felt their sorrow and took each soul to the beyond with respect and deference. Even when Death itself, her mentor and savior, passed to the beyond, she cried for it.
