Adaramantiana is an Earth Genasi woman who lives in Port Maredun and is known as a collector of obscure items and knowledge.

Description

Appearance

Adaramantiana has grey skin with a stone-like texture. Atop her head, instead of hair, are rocky protrusions ending in raw gemstones.

Personality

Adaramantiana is a quick-witted, judgmental and opportunistic person who uses their skills towards amassing a collection of rare and valuable goods and information. She can be transfixed by things she considers valuable and does not weigh legal or moral implications in their pursuit. Her house is filled with expensive-looking items and rare and magical enchantments with little regard to their combined aesthetics.

Timeline

Session 47: Washed Up
The party seeks information in their quest against Iymrith and hears about Adaramantiana in the higher-class area of Port Maredun. They gain access to her house and personal library by offering her valuables such as a jade flower pot from Ataraxia, a Polymorph Blade from Ahriman and Nav showing his true changeling self.

Session 48: Entering the Door
Within Adaramantiana's magical library, Parvana discovers a dryad being held against her will. Adaramantiana believes her care of the dryad was adequate while she fulfilled her curiosity about primal magic, and tries to buy Parvana's silence. Garin points out the collector's reputation could be damaged and while flashing a map of Xhuveria. Adaramantiana agrees to release the dryad after having Parvana translate a possible answer to a peculiar riddle.

Adaramantiana continues to be intrigued by the Xhuverian map, including proof of the islands' existence and a means of traveling there. Ownership of the map and much convincing is enough to learn about the confidential exchange with the Morgardian ambassador who came to acquire a Devastation Orb from the collection.

Session 49: Bells of Port Maredun
The Broker and Constance Verindin enter her parlor, only to be immediately attacked by Garin and Ahriman. Garin quickly kills the Broker, whose body reveals red-skin, sharp teeth and curved horns before dissolving into ash and embers. Above her concern for clients being 'killed' in her home, Adaramantiana seems more distressed by the overgrowth of plants caused by Parvana during the fight.
