04: Fans of the Trollfen
General Summary
After escorting Father Mullen back to the Forked Streams Cloister, the party spends 3 weeks in Nightstone to help rebuild.
Ahriman:
The party agrees to search the Trollfen for bog iron to help Haldira Brookmill. Approaching the Trollfen, they run into specters and traces of trolls while traversing the muddy terrain. While camping, they're ambushed by a troll demanding they leave. The party relocates for the rest of the night.
Ahriman:
- Assisted a local family and spent time with their children (halfling mother Eliza and 12-year old Jula and 8-year old Dorin)
- Offered basic drill training, but Haldira and Dunclay considered other priorities first
- Provides funeral services in town and uses the destroyed church as a soup kitchen and first-aid station
- Requests permission from Father Mullen to continue traveling with and assisting the party
- Has visions about a coffin deep beneath the earth with chains around it breaking. From the coffin emerges a giant rotting corpse. Father Mullen believes this hearkens back to the Dead King

- Chats with Dunclay and learns he wants to expand his tavern with the help of his cousin Griff in Brisburg
- Discusses with Father Mullen about his nightmares since ending up at the Forked Streams Cloister with grave injuries
- Learns from Haldira there's pockets of 'bog iron' in the Trollfen
- Switches form between the old man recognized by the party and a mischievous red-headed girl
