Forked Streams Cloister
The Forked Streams Cloister is a cloister of the Order of Mnemothos, a half-day's travel (on foot) southwest of the town of Nightstone.
The building hosts approximately 20 members of the Order of varying positions such as acolytes, monks and archivists. Although there is no strict hierarchy structure within the Order, Archivist Mullen is considered to be the principle caretaker of the cloister.
The modest library houses tomes about the history & almanacs of the region, lore about their religion and deity Mnemothos and other small artifacts. It also contains a repository of known families and obituaries of all known deaths in Nightstone and the surrounding area.
A small clinic with approximately 8 beds (though with the capacity to add more in times of need) is where people requiring medical care are received. Palliative care is primarily provided, where Order members receive terminal patients as a measure of last resort or to ease their transition into the next existence.
The cloister also includes a small chapel, a communal dining hall, a small stable for riding animals and a vegetable and herb garden. Cloister members generally share rooms, except for more senior members. There are usually several vacant rooms in case guests or travelers need to make use of them.
