General Summary
Father Mullen from the Forked Streams Cloister has been reported missing after leaving with several other priests to investigate the occurrences in Nightstone.
The party departs from the cloister, having accepted the bounty to find him. Nearing the town, they see large boulders scattered about before finding Nightstone in shambles after an attack. The town's central feature, the Nightstone Obelisk is missing. Buildings are crushed and goblins are scavenging through the rubble and remains. The local church to Chauntea is also heavily damaged, but its priest hints that most of the townspeople likely sought refuge at the Dripping Caverns. The Nightstone Inn fared better than most buildings. As the party searches for survivors, a crossbow-wielding woman is found hiding in its cellar. Additionally, Father Mullen's diary is found in one of the rooms. The woman, Kella is found by her companions, roving bandits led by Brent. The bandits are convinced to leave and stay away from Nightstone after a display of strength by the party.
