Li'gnax

Li'gnax is one of the world trees and takes the form of a gigantic willow. Since recorded time this world tree has emitted a strange almost corrupting power in its nearby area although it has always kept this corruption inside of its own area of influence. It seems that necromantic spells as well as curses are particularly potent in this area, likely being aligned with the natural power of the world tree.
The world tree seems to prefer strong individuals often causing sickness on those who flee from danger and hastening the death of those too weak to recover from illnesses. According to the lizardfolk, it is also strictly forbidden to burn corpses or food, which should instead be buried or left out to rot. While outside scholars have not confirmed this, the Holy Order of Druids have adopted this as a rule and are strictly enforcing it.
