Blackmist Peaks
The Blackmist peaks are so called due to the black mist surrounding the tops of this mountain range. Many theorize that the mist comes from the ink like waters in the Inkwater marsh surrounding the mountain range but this does not explain the similar phenomenon happening at Death's peak. Whatever the case many more odd things happen in these mountains and new subspecies of part humanoid part animal keep appearing here. Many believe it was by this kind of process that lizardfolk and other similar races first appeared on E'ath.
Fauna & Flora
Many new and weird species are found in this range and many more are constantly created likely due to the power of Li'gnax. Some of these die out almost immediately but many more spread outside the mountain eventually becoming recognized species in their own right.
