Orthin Organization in Dwell | World Anvil

Orthin

Orthin is by far the largest country in Dwell, covering the entirety of Mos Leferrin as well as a small portion of Bane. While this imperialistic nation rarely uses force, there is some concerns regarding how its Absolutist government will proceed now that nearly all settlements that would have joined without a fight already have. However, followers of Enna, who are close allies with all religious groups, block their path, which appears to be enough to hold them at bay. Still, there are some concerning rumors circulating about their plans going forward.

Demography and Population

As previously mentioned, this country is almost entirely controlled by Absolutists--or followers of the deity Ryn. Adding to this, it is largely populated by humans, who are the most prominent species in Dwell. It is generally safe to assume that a human either follows Ryn or Mal, with the former being significantly more likely.   As a result, the dominant population of Orthin would be human Absolutists. Of course, there are some elven (and occasionally dwarven) Absolutists--or even those who adhere to another deity completely. However, these demographics are usually very small and carry little to no weight in political decisions.

Education

Unfortunately, Orthin's education system prioritizes indoctrination over producing a well-rounded, properly educated population, which results in an increasingly militant younger generation (as well as the rise of several resistance organizations attempting to shift the status quo). There is some mild internal tension surrounding this, but nothing too severe has occurred so far.
