RevolutionEthana was once a great and prosperous nation. A heavily-militarized theocracy, it was ruled over by godchosen Princes. However, when the Gods were Banished, Ethana fell into despair and chaos. The very reason their leaders held any power over the population had been destroyed, and now tensions rose, announcing the inevitable end of an era. Mercenary gangs and various factions were already planning the end of this once great realm. Then, on the morning of the first day of Keiran, the metaphorical powder keg that was Tar Kasit exploded. Waves of civilian militias stormed the keeps and castles of important leaders. Killed or exiled, the nobility of Ethana was eradicated in 3 days. It is said that monarchs killed in the revolution were thrown in the sea, thus refusing them a proper burial, and that the sea became red with their blood for the next year.
