Master Hand

The eclectic Master Hand is the leader of The Black Hand and is always the person in the background silently directing the group. Nobody knows their identity or exactly where they reside but it is certain that their orders are absolute and that they are the single most powerful individual in The Black Hand.

Responsibilities

The Master Hand is in charge of running The Black Hand in it's entirety and is the final deliberation for highly contested decisions, for acts that have precedent to put the organization at high risk, or tasks that will greatly alter the current environment such as killing a High Lord.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

While other members of The Black Hand may retire the Master Hand is only removed via their passing though it is very rare that this is noticed as even in death the Master Hand's identity is kept a secret.

Nobody is quite sure how the Master Hand is selected or how the authority is upheld but The Black Hand do understand that Master Hand is their law
