Kimula

Kimula is the Goddess of the Moon and Magic. She is the wife of Absyun.
It is told that, before the creation of the world, she was gravely wounded in the fighting between Absyun and Kirbarir. Her blood mixed to form the world. Her tears became the stars, and the tears that landed on the mortal realm became the elves. 
She is primarily worshiped by the Moon Elves, although mages and scholars of any race may take her as their patron. Her worshipers pray to her for understanding of the arcane and for the stars to align for their endeavors. 
Her holy places are often built by elves - many temples of Kimula were actually built by the ancient Mithral Empire. These sites often contain open courtyards with which to view the moon and stars. Rites are traditionally held at night.
