Maksur

A medium-sized independent mining town flanked on either side by the Southern Sister Peaks and The Darkwood Forest on Obeavos.
Originally a mining town, Maksur has become a hub for adventurers, bounty hunters, and monster slayers. While the mine is still very much active and lucrative, the secondary business of trophy hunting is equally booming, with people coming from all over the surrounding region to test their mettle.
Maksur has a well-earned reputation of being a tough city, nestled between one of the larger mountain ranges on the continent and the largest forest on Dunaterra. Both the Southern Sister Peaks and the Darkwood Forest are home to aberrations, monsters, and spectres, a few of which find their way out of the biomes and into sight of the city. Where massive walls and strong armaments repel many attacks, the rest is held by a highly-trained and battle-hardened militia.
