Laketown

A small mining and trade hub town in the Selenavi Republic to the east of the Ironcapped Mountain Range. 
Laketown was the first to join the Republic, petitioning the ruling family of Selenia to extend their military power north for protection, and in return a tribute would be continually given. Selenia agreed, and thus the Selenavi Republic was born.
Laketown and its sister town Literra both have access to the mines at the base of the Ironcapped mountains, large peaks with the largest deposits of raw iron on Obeavos. While it is lucrative, it is also dangerous, with aberrations making their way up throuh the mines where some have dug too far and entered the Underdark. Due to their position, Laketown and Literra also funnel all land trade coming from the rest of Obeavos, excluding trade utilizing the Hino'ithal across the Aarasyl Desert. Because of this, both towns are extremely well-supplied and wealthy, causing them to be hubs generally lived in by very wealthy individuals and those trying to befriend or defraud such people.
