Literra

A medium mining and trading city in the Selenavi Republic to the east of the Ironcapped Mountain Range, and sister city to Laketown. 
Literra is the most recent addition to the Selanavi Republic, joining nearly 250 years ago. The decision was made after significant pressure from Selenia due to trade disputes and tarrif problems causing a significant slow down in trade between the Republic and the rest of Obeavos. While the reason for the switch is unknown, many in the city assume some kind of leverage was used to make the city leaders more pliable.
Due to its position as a funnel for almost all land trade across the continent, along with its sister city Laketown, Literra has become extremely wealthy and well-supplied, though the land itself is not quite as visually beautiful as Laketown. While its residence do tend to be wealthier, there is less blatant opulance than Laketown, with the community more interested in using the capitol to improve the city as a whole.
