Owen Moda
Owen Moda grew up in Platzhalter, though his mother often said he would grow out of Platzhalter by the time he was twelve. In stark contrast to his normally-proportioned parents, Owen is a trapezoid made flesh, nearly as broad at the shoulders as he is tall, with shoulders wide enough to seat two of any ancestry. He is as naively kind as he is strong, too, always the last to anger, and at least second to a friendly wave.
After an incident aboard a Cardian patrol ship, Owen returned to Platzhalter to assist the Osler family at their summer estate during their exile. Upon meeting Isa again, he joined the Starfall, serving as a secondary gunner and primary himbo.
He has a book addressed to an Alvin Cordoba, with a note tagged "To my boy," that Owen wishes to deliver since the pirates he took it from probably stole it. His goal is to go to the Triad and find someone who can help him, since so much travel goes through the Triad.
TRIVIA
- Lost his position on the patrol ship by physically lifting a cannon, walking it to the other side of the ship, and lighting and firing it under one arm.
- More enthusiastic than talented, in almost any venture, really.
- Just an immense man, it bears repeating.
- Held a moogle against a wall by his face for a solid twenty-five minutes.
INVESTIGATIONS
- (Linnet, 71) With the Starfall being his first time among so many people, Owen has developed a system to keep track of people by how far removed they are from Isa. Celeste and Marina are the only two crew members with scores of One, since Isa either hired them or knew them from the past.
