A figure pushes to the edge of the crowd, pausing at the forefront. Of moderate height and slender build, wearing loose clothing over light plates of armor. A sword at their hip, and a mask of ceramic, white and crimson and gold, on their face.
They look from guard to guard, choosing their moment, which happens to be just as Bast steps up to speak to them... and then break into a dash for the Forge.
Twelve fast paces and an athletic leap, and they are past the line of security.
Whatever balance the situation had, is about to be upset.
Luca Ficarra entered the party's orbit in dramatic fashion during their shared time in Koehnta, using the party's run-in with Moonfire Faire security as an opportunity to jump the rail and infiltrate the Celestial Forge. Once inside the Forge, they quickly dispatched a series of cultists, freed a set of hostages (including Isara Marquez, visiting the Forge for the festivities), and restored the Moonfire Faire banner to the exterior of the building, before returning for the last set only to find the party had already defeated Tacit Approval and secured the hostages. Luca escorted the hostages out alongside the party and emerged to raucous applause from the crowd, adulation they relished. Isara took a liking to Luca immediately, and when the engineering wunderkind signed onto the Starfall, she made Luca's enlistment a condition of her acceptance.
Luca cuts a dashing rather than imposing figure. They wear armor underneath loose, eye-catching clothing, and when they fought the Flamekeepers, they wore a ceramic mask that fully concealed their face. Their swordplay is impeccable, and while it may be impossible to discern if their claim of being the eighth-greatest swordfighter in Ducorde is true, they are a very well-trained, well-honed fighter.
