Ismera, Coveter of Knowledge

"My, my - Apologies! It has been so long since we received visitors here. I am Ismera. I tend to my Lady's Library. Are you here to seek her counsel?"

As the large doors to Carmenthia's Old Temple open, a figure at a desk perks up and stands quickly to offer a greeting. They offer a polite greeting alongside an odd mixture of a half-curtsy and half-bow. Ismera is a tiefling-like individual who is the sole attendant of Carmenthia's vast library. They are incredibly curious, somewhat awkward and prone to stumbling along through their words, and are, above all else, determined to be an excellent host. It isn't often that they receive visitors, after all. In an attempt to be a good host, they are very willing to fulfill any request or need, including preparing meals or assisting individuals attempting to navigate the shelves of books and tomes. However, they will only guide so much, as half of the joy of knowledge is the pursuit of it, after all!

The Coveter of Knowledge

Ismera's mortal guise is one they have donned for millenium. The awkward librarian is - beneath their magically vanishing sleeves - a huge, teal dragon, with an inclination for the arcane and a breath of blinding light. Although they desperately desire friends, preferably of the longer-lived variety, they are incredibly possessive of what they perceive as their hoard: Carmenthia's Library and even the Lady of Knowledge herself. Join Ismera's hoard... are they not the perfect host? Is there anything you'd want they could not provide? Perhaps you should stay... for eternity.
