Chasm of Infinity
The Chasm of Infinity is a deep chasm located in the Galm mountains, and almost completely inaccessible due to it. Its steep walls and wide span make it a challenge to climb... and thus make it all the safer as a feature of the Tunnels of Infinity. The solid rock allows for carved windows, and even entirely open rooms, letting fresh air and sunlight in.
Although the chasm walls offer little opportunity for life, the Society of Infinity has built space for just that. Layered farms, spanning much of the vertical space of chasm walls, offer places for all sorts of plants to grow. Common food crops, certainly, but also herbs used for healing, or for poisons. Among those are cheikh, poisonous flowers which no one else has successfully farmed.
Geography
The Chasm is a deep canyon located in the Galm mountains, worn down over the ages by water. The river responsible still streams deep below, fed by countless streams which run near and through the Tunnels of Infinity. Its faces are steep and made of solid rock, with little room for nature. Dug into those faces are man-made openings, doorways and windows and entire rooms, allowing the inhabiting dragons access to fresh air and sunlight. Bridges span the width of the chasm, connecting tunnels on either side of it.
