King Gregory L'Ord

King of Thulcat for the last twelve years. The son of a ledgendary King, Gregori has always ruled in the shadow of his father, Balir, known as the Iron Shield for his defense against the Nazthi invasion. His rule has been a time a unsurpassed prosperity for Thulcati, but the bards have trouble putting good times and peace to song, it is war that writes the most glorious sagas and songs.
While Gregori was aware of the Nazthi threat and did what he could to safeguard his Kingdom, he made a deadly mistake in trusting Baron Sulla Vilanti. The betrayal of the "Protector of the Relm" has nuetralized all of the defenses Gregori has spent building up, and the betrayal of the Life Guard under Vilanti's command cost the King and much of his family thier lives.
