Libertine

The capital of the Free Islands began its life as a simple fishing village, a convenient cove with calm waters for the locals to load and unload their skiffs. But as pirate raides became permenant residents and transient wanderers became citizens the village because a veritible city. Now called Libertine, it acts as the capital of the fledgling nation. Its buildings are hastily made and the city lacks any cohesive plan, issues which may come back to bite its people in the long term. But in the short term the city is bustling and trade is humming.
