Captain of the Stingers (a.k.a. The Beast)
Even for a race known for their imposing frames, Grosh cuts can imposing figure. The Captain of the Elite Stinger warriors often forgoes the group's iconic chitin armor in favor of fighting bare chested. He is known for using a towering war bow and envenomed arrows to mow down opponents. In truth the venom is most frequently overkill, as the massive draw weight of the bow puts mortal wounds into its victims' bodies. Grosh "the Beast" is frequently characterized as a dumb brute, a blunt instrument for his mistress, but a more careful examination of the Record shows this likely to be a biased view. Grosh has effectively led his troops in open battles and numerous raids and covert attacks. His targets rarely survive to tell the tales of his exploits, which may be limiting his notoriety. In truth he should probably be viewed as exceedingly cunning and dangerous; anyone seeking to engage him in combat would be advised to have their affairs in order first.
