ADAM

Calvin Crockett-Nagai's grandfather built the Advanced Digital Assistance Machine as a prototype for the monomer system used by HEAVY SATURN. Since its creation, the robot has been a family pet, companion, and Heavy Labor unit.
ADAM is built from a power-lifter exoframe with the monomer prototype and a thinking core built from spare parts. It looks like a strange exposed Robbie the Robot. Part of its logic unit is an analog landing system from an Airbus. ADAM's level of intelligence is suspect, and while its charming nature is part of its behavior, it can be seen as more. A lot is learned programmed into the robot rather than some kind of sentience, but the Higgs battery wedged into the chest does create odd moments.
ADAM "speaks" in a complex series of BEEPS and WHISTLES created by Crockett-Nagai based on the math necessary for HEAVY SATURN's ability to avoid the Square Cubed law for weight requirements. Understanding the math allows one to translate ADAM's speech.
ADAM can lift incredible amounts of weight, making him pivotal in the repair and maintenance on The HEAVY SATURN Crew.
