The makeup of the universe

The universe in which it all takes place.
Within the Zetaverse are many clusters. Each cluster contains multiple star systems, bunched closely together. Each star system contains one or multiple stars, orbited by planets.
Travel within systems and clusters is done via teleportation and spacecraft. Most spacecraft are either personal, community, or military-owned, while teleportation is facilitated by huge, airport-style terminals on the ground. Travel between clusters is facilitated by waypoints, gigantic space stations floating withing clusters. Waypoints have the capability to contant waypoints in other clusters, creating wormholes between the two points. Spacecraft then travel through these wormholes, allowing inter-cluster travel that would otherwise be impossible.
