Mirii Logic

Mirii is a young Lunad, raised by the Logic Crew. Found shortly after her birth, she considers them her family. She is very reliant on them for guidance, although she is recently taking her first steps towards acting independently.

Physical Description

Special abilities

Because she is a Lunad, Mirii can absorb, store, and use lunaticus.

Lunaticus healing: Mirii can use lunaticus to heal herself. Under ideal conditions, minor injuries can heal almost instantly. She can also use lunaticus to nourish herself, allowing her to go for longer without food.

Lunatic Repose: In the event of there being lunaticus available without her needing it immediately, Mirii has an object called a Lunatic Repose. This mystical lunar gem, which can be found embedded in the skulls of all lunads, acts as a reservoir for this power. She can keep the power within the Lunatic Repose for use later.

When she transforms into her human form, the Lunatic Repose transforms with her. By default, it becomes a choker - a black band of elasticated cloth with a red gemstone set in the front which is secured around her neck. However, as long as there is lunaticus within it, the Lunatic Repose is able to transform as well - and can become any number of shapes, include a sword, a glaive, an axe, or any number of other weapons. She prefers to fight with it in sword form but is skilled in the use of glaive and axes forms, too.

Note that in her lunad form, the Lunatic Repose makes up part of Mirii's skull. Therefore she cannot transform back to her lunad form if she is not holding it. For this reason she becomes quite agitated if she is separated from the Lunatic Repose for too long. However, she can always sense the location of the Lunatic Repose using her powers.

Transformation: Having absorbed enough power from the wishes of Blue and the rest of his crew for her wellbeing, Mirii gained the ability to transform into a human shape. Mirii can technically transform into any shape with the power of lunaticus, but she has a shape that she prefers, and doesn't generally feel the need to use any other shape. Each of her forms has a few advantages over the other:
Lunad form: what she calls her "normal" form. She is smaller and more agile in this form, better equipped to avoid enemy strikes. Because the Lunatic Repose does not need to shapeshift in this form, her use of lunaticus is slightly more efficient. She is, however, restricted to fighting "tooth and nail" with very little versatility in her attacks.
Human form: in this form Mirii is far more physically powerful, and because the Lunatic Repose is now above her skin it is more exposed to the elements, and thus charges lunaticus faster. Because she has human hands in this form, she is able to craft lunaticus into different forms with her fingers, which has various applications.

Premonition: Having a strong affinity to the energy lunaticus, Mirii is able to sense intuitively any strong sources of it, even ones that have not actually happened yet. Thus, she is able to sense anything that would generate a vast amount of benevolent wishes, such as natural disasters, births, illnesses, etc.

Immunities
Mirii is immune to light attacks - they actually serve to charge her lunaticus, particularly moonlight.
She is immune to darkness attacks. Because the lunads are a race of creatures created by a moon, they have an affinity for nighttime and darkness.
She is immune to psychic attacks as long as her body contains lunaticus. This is because the power of benevolent wishes blocks intrusive psychic attacks. Mirii loses this immunity if her lunaticus supply is low.

Mirii is able to use certain techniques in combat. (The following attacks each have a rough lunaticus use %. Note that some of the percentages go above 100%; this is because it is gauged by how much lunaticus Mirii stores in the Lunatic Repose. But she can store 50% more in her own body. Thus, her actual maximum is 150%.)

Lunar Blade: A blade of lunaticus energy is formed in front of Mirii and projected at an enemy.
Lunad consumption: 1% / Human consumption: 2%

Crescent Web: Mirii uses her energy to trap enemies in an invisible moonlight web. Can be used to snare or slow enemies.
Cannot be used in her lunad form. / Human consumption: 10%

Quarter Force: Mirii uses lunaticus to push something away. She also pushes herself away with the same force. Useful for quick escapes.
Cannot be used in her lunad form. / Human consumption: 15%

Lunatic Rage: Mirii uses lunaticus to boost her own attack power.
Lunad consumption: 15% / Human consumption: 25%

Gibbous Ascent: Mirii uses her energy to rise off of the ground with incredible swiftness, much higher than she can jump. This is useful for reaching high places or dodging enemy attacks. When using this move, she holds onto an invisible pole and makes movements around it similar to a pole dancer.
Cannot be used in her lunad form. / Human consumption: 35%

Moonlit Path: Mirii uses lunaticus to boost her speed.
Lunad consumption: 40% / Human consumption: 60%

Full Shredder: A powerful offensive technique. Wearing her Lunatic Repose as a choker, Mirii makes movements with her fingers in front of her that make it seem like she's playing an invisible piano. As she does, she is projecting spots of lunaticus energy on the walls and floor in the area around her enemy. She then abruptly jerks her hands back, parallel to her hips, then forward, so that her arms cross over her chest. The energy spots are pulled away, connected to her fingers, creating thousands of strands of razor wire that cut the enemy to shreds.
Cannot be used in her lunad form. / Human consumption: 90%

Phase of the Moon: With this ultimate secret technique of the lunads, Mirii can turn into a moonbeam, allowing enemy attacks to phase through her body. This move uses a great deal of lunaticus and only lasts a few seconds, so she must make it count.
Lunad consumption: 80% / Human consumption: 110%

Mental characteristics

Personal history

The situation at Treyire was dire for the Lunads when The Logic Crew arrived. Shortly after landing, the Crew found a pup, small enough to fit into Blue's cupped hands, whose parents and siblings had all fallen victim to the hunt. Realizing that the pup would die in the wild without its mother, Blue adopted her. After a very short stay, the Crew moved on, taking young Mirii with them and raising her as their daughter and friend.

Social

Social Aptitude

Mirii is enthusiastic, optimistic and brave under any circumstances. She is eager to make a good impression on others and to please those around her, particularly those who are nice to her. A natural-born follower, Mirii has had little practice making her own decisions; when put in a solitary position, she becomes withdrawn and timid like a lost child. She is far more comfortable when being given commands by somebody that she recognises as more intelligent than herself.
As a general rule, in addition to the above, Mirii has an animalistic personality. She operates more on her basic instincts than other characters do, and will always tend to her base needs as a priority - she will eat when she is hungry, and sleep when she is tired, unless she is told otherwise. Socially, she tends to be quite polite, but this is not a conscious choice; rather, she sees herself as the smallest pup of the Jumper's "Pack" and acts polite because she perceives others as her superiors.
