Hasenburg (ha-SEN-berg)

Overview

Often called the capital of Dosjorya, Hasenburg is a center for law, commerce, and learning. The Order of Innena and the Dosjoryan Military are based here.

Characteristics

Hasenburg sits on the Great Achton River just upstream from the marshland river delta. Large stone bridges that have stood for centuries connect both halves of the city, with the largest spanning the river near the city center. Many stone towers rise from the ground, serving many purposes or standing empty and crumbling.

History

Hasenburg was the third settlement to be founded by the humans who crossed the ocean and second permanent settlement. Founded during the time after the war but before humans and Gendirlo built much trust in each other, its original purpose was of defense for a fledgling community.
After peace was agreed to by humans and Gendirlo, Hasenburg grew as it was well positioned downstream of the largest river system in Dosjorya, the Great Achton River and the Great Lekmeton River.
