Taford

While most of the dwarves in Dorwine can draw some sort of ancient ancestry to Allgringthveit there are some who hail from the Howling Mountains. These dwarves are often hardier and tougher, coming from the unforgiving cold and conditions of the mountains. Taford is one of the largest pair of these settlements, alongside Variebekkr.
  Taford sits in a small valley in the mountains, for some parts of the year it is entirely cut off from the outside world. The people make a hardscrabble but comfortable living from small scale mining, logging, trapping and hunting.
