Mungat Berg (Moon-gat Berrrg)

For many years a group of bandits plagued the communities on the lower slopes of The Three Mountains of Kobjii. Eventually the goliaths, who previously had struggled along in small family groups united and utterly routed the bandits. Seeing the benefits of joining together the goliaths settled the ruins of the old bandit stronghold and the village of Mungat Berg was born.   Mungat Berg is a simple village with huts gathered around the path leading from the bridge crossing the Rungr River. In the centre of the village sits the Great Hall, made of the salvaged remains of the bandit stronghold.

Demographics

The Bergers are almost all goliaths.

Government

The elders of all the scattered families have come together to form a Council of Elders. They meet in the Great Hall monthly to decide on important matters for the village.

Industry & Trade

The goliaths of Mungat Berg make a simple living hunting, trapping, catching fish from the Rungr and raising goats.

Tourism

Siward Halle is a poet, famed throughout Dorwine. He still makes his home in Mungat Berg when not travelling the County. From time to time people make the trek into the mountains to meet him and “sit at the feet of the master.”
