Getting Trolled Report

General Summary

Badalona Ailendogs rejoins the Five Fingers after a night spent talking with Vanja Alvispeer. Apparently there was a troll on the southern shores of Wurm Lake that had stolen a trained giant boar from Vanja. It was not the first time the troll had made a nuisance of itself and Vanja’s deal was that Badalona could keep the boar if the troll was slain.
Unfortunately Mehmen Ashid was unwell, so the party left him to recover at The Bloody Wand. A quick trip to Malvia’s Emporium saw Badalona leave with a disguise which was part of his master plan to defeat the troll.
Equipped and ready the party made their way to the lake and found the cave where the troll lived. Badalona put his plan into action. Impersonating a lost chef, he tried to convince the troll he could make him a delicious meal. The troll was not fooled. Thomas Marchant stepped up to try pretending to be another chef. His impersonation began better and the troll was initially fooled. However the plan soon unravelled and Marble had seen enough. A fight began. The troll was a tough opponent. Every hit made against it caused a spray of venom to erupt and coat everyone near. It was not long before Badalona, Thomas and Alok Ravaralei all found themselves at death’s door. With the fight going badly Badalona was able to find and free the boar, allowing the Five Fingers to beat a retreat from the slowly regenerating troll that lived to fight again another day.
