Wurm Lake

On the borders of the The Ruinfields of Formene lies Wurm Lake. It gets its name from the Gold Dragon that once made its home on the shores during the height of the Elven Empire. It has long been absent from the lake however. 
Now it is a quiet reminder of the greatness of the former Formene - ruined lakeside villas line the northern and northwestern sides of the lake and the same bizarre phenomena that can be found in the Ruinfields extend to the lake. By day it seems to be a beautiful body of water, surrounded by trees and wildflowers. By night, however, it appears brackish and ominous. 
Currently the southern shores are home to a venom troll which preys on straggling wildlife.
