Cults and Beer Report

General Summary

After dispatching the last of the demons and closing the gate the Five Fingers go in pursuit of Berny. They find him upstairs just as Sir Egangrodh Waelvor arrives on the scene. Berny does not want to be captured alive and kills himself in front of the heroes.
Looking for more information they return to the cellars hoping to interrogate Jane Borne. However they discover that she too has killed herself. So they are left to search the cultists, discovering that all of them have the same tattoo. With a means of identifying other cultists the heroes return to the town to come up with a plan.

At the same time Alexander Face’s Travelling Circus & Menagerie roll into town. This prompts Thomas Marchant to go into hiding, unwilling to meet Alexander just yet. This is no impediment to Marble who does pay the eladrin a visit and returns with a message that Alexander wishes to see Thomas. Meanwhile Alok Ravaralei is working on repairing the damage done to The Viridian Mug and Mehmen Ashid and Badalona Ailendogs are locked in conference with Astrid and Sir Egangrodh. They want a way to try and see the bare backs of every villager to see if there are cult tattoos. Perhaps the best way is to lace the town well with Rive’s strong Orcish Beer…
