Father Reinhart's Final Message
An encoded message discovered within Father Reinhart's desk soon after his murder.
His possession of such a letter is not strange on its own as he was known to be a former inquisitor specializing in cryptography. What made the letter stand out was the fact that it was hidden in a secret compartment in the priest's desk while what is believed to have been the original copy was found burnt in the fireplace.
Purpose
Currently unknown.
It is believed that the letter is related to what lead to Father Reinhart's demise, possibly a expert from his notes regarding an investigation he was assisting with.

It appears that the coded message is a duplicate of one Reinhart was tasked with decrypting. Following the destruction of the original text, Reinhart's copy remains closely guarded to prevent any further sabotage to the investigation.
Historical Details
Background
Very little is known about the background of the letter.
It has been confirmed that members of the local constabulary visited Reinhart's church the day before he was found dead, presumably to ask for his assistance in decoding it. The constabulary have yet to confirm what was discussed during the meeting nor have they confirmed any knowledge of the original message.
History
Many of the details surrounding the letter or even confirmed knowledge of how the original letter came to be in Father Reinhart's possession are unknown.
It is believed that members of the local constabulary came to Father Reinhart with an encoded message that had presumably been intercepted and requested his assistance in decoding the letter. Father Reinhart, known to have been a former inquisitor for the Church of the Eternal Dawn, accepted the task.
Shortly after the discovery of his dead body, scraps of a letter were found partially burnt in the fireplace of his office. The surviving scraps from the fire were later confirmed to be a copy of the message Reinhart hid upon comparison.
The copy that had been hidden was discovered days after the initial investigation by Reinhart's adoptive son, being aware of the secret compartment in the priest's desk.
