Man-made borders

On Domhan, a majority of the borders are natural in nature. Typically, either mountains or water expanses (such as Ako's Tears or the Separation Sea) separate the large continent of the Vast from the rest of Domhan. However, two man-made borders exist today, all defined by the on-going wars of the world: the border between the Junction and Free Domhan , and the border between the Junction and Vengeance.   The border between the Junction and Free Domhan is delimited by war camps, and a zone of total devastation upon which the two armies continually fight against each other in bloody battles. It seems that neither side is able to gain ground on the other; this situation has been "stable" for years now.   The border between the Junction and Vengeance has only recently started to move. Previously, it was defined by an agreement between Trokair, Zakon, and Rastlin. Recently, Rastlin broke that agreement and has begun to advance upon the Junction, culling villages along the way. With the forces of nature at his very fingertips, the devastation has been "limited" so far - at least on the natural side. The limits are defined by the advance of the Vengeance's forces, and they often don't bother building war camps.   The borders defined above are borders between countries. There are also some ill-defined, ever-moving "faction lines" in some countries, especially in the Holy Dragon Empire. Those are best explored on a national level, as they shift constantly.
