Augmented

Though the people from Welmenni live a life of luxury and decadence, there are those who would seek even greater comfort by having their bodies modified through the use of technology and the arcane. These people are known as the Augmented, and use the power of Welmenni's finest technological advances to fight.   Often, those who choose to become Augmented are Emberi who have a keen interest in technology, or those actively invested in helping Welmenni grow - provided they didn't simply reincarnate into an Augmented Husk, of course. Some call the modifications on their body "intoxicating" or "addicting", and seek to add even more changes to their bodies. These modifications can range from the slightly useful, like a telescopic lens installed on one's eye that can zoom in further, to the outright unusual, like installing additional pairs of arms. These augmentations often use similar fleshcrafting technology as those used on the Unusual Husks.   Aside from their augmentations, an Augmented often looks like a regular Emberi. They often tend to have an element to them that makes them seem quite unsettling to look at, however. For instance, some Augmented have lost their ability to move some of the muscles in their faces, causing them to be unable to smile. Some have been augmented so many times that they look more like a Rook than an actual Emberi.

  • Your creature type is Construct, instead of Humanoid.
  • Your speed increases by 10 feet.
  • You have resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage.
  • As a bonus action on your turn, you can make a special attack that targets a creature within 100 feet of you. • The creature can't take reactions until the end of your next turn.
    • The next attack roll made against the creature before the end of your next turn has advantage.
    • Until the end of your next turn, whenever the creature is hit by an attack, it takes an additional 1d4 points of force damage.
