The Ivory Iona
"The Ivory Iona"
A medium sized, rectangular book with a cover made of interwoven ivory strips, containing tan vellum pages and written in a thin print with deep green ink. The cover has a scrimshawed image of a town and a title that reads, “Iona, The Forgotten Are Not Lost”. On the first page it’s a simple request “Please Come Find Us”. Unfortunately the last few pages are missing, presumably due to natural causes and the ravages of time.
Purpose
To describe the history and lands of the Iona people and encourage people to search for and release them.
Historical Details
Background
This book contains a record of the founding, abbreviated history, and destruction of the Iona people. It also shows the demographics, day to day activities, and significant peoples of the Iona. Several maps of their location relative to the world, continent, and region at Iolite Lake are included. Perhaps most important is the information regarding the creation and usage of the Iona Stones and how to release the preserved people in them.
Public Reaction
The general public is unaware of this book. With it's recent discovery, some scholars are eager to find the Iona Stones and try to release the people.
