A gang of robbers, thieves, and highwaymen operating out of the Burned Woods.

Structure

Run with an iron fist by the half-orc Dwyn Lopov. Below him the appointees are in a constant state of change, as many are killed on missions or murdered by Dwyn for their failures. The most stable positions are that of treasurer and cook. The rest of the bandits answer directly to Dwyn, although he has been thinking of adding a few lieutenants to lighten his load and run day to day operations. All members are required to wear earth tone, camouflaging colors and hooded jackets.

To acquire money, power, and information related to the surrounding lands.

History

This group came together a few years ago to commit the kidnapping and ransom of a family traveling through the woods, avoiding The Black Reach. This was a disaster as the bandit leader and half of his men were slain by the family and their guards, the family was in turn killed, and the woods set on fire by the son and daughter wizards.
From this emerged the half-orc, Dwyn Lopov, and a handful of survivors. Dwyn took leadership and decided to use the burned woods as a base of operations for future crimes. Due to it's strategic location, and high traffic for anyone wishing to travel around The Black Reach, many opportunities arose for expansion.
Thus was born "The Burned Woods Hoods".
