"Penjara Permata"
These are extremely large, rare, flawless gemstones, that have been magically altered to have the ability to imprison the most powerful of creatures. These were originally created in the time just before the "The Sundering" by an order of powerful wizards called the The Great Dragon Masters. They saw the lands being overrun by great dragons and sought to develop a way to try and contain them. After years of study and experimentation, they created the “Penjara Permata”.
In order to trap a creature inside, the command word must be spoken while both the creature and holder gaze at the gem. Trapped creatures can only be released by speaking the command word found inside of the jewel. It is said that more than just dragons have been captured by these gems. By peering into the jewel, the trapped creature can be seen, and possibly communicated with. Be wary with whom you speak, for the imprisoned are diabolical and anxiously trying to escape.
