WorldEmber Prep

Since I joined WorldAnvil last year during WorldEmber, I've been counting down the days until December rolls around again. While 2024 didn't go in the direction I expected (it's been such a fantastic year, but not enough spoons to worldbuild as much as I wanted!) I'm hoping to wrap it up with a dedicated month of writing.
To set myself up for success, I'm participating in WorldEmber prep this month and planning as much as possible!

Week 1

I'm pledging to write 10.000 words of new worldbuilding in the month of December!

My area of focus will be the city of Dasav and the fundamentals world. In other words, I'll be focusing on articles needed to start my TTRPG campaigns in the new year! Both campaigns will take place in Dasav and happen parallel to each other in the New World.
For Dasav it can be anything from a cute little pawn shop to important historical figures, while the fundamentals can dip into magic, the pantheon, world history and cosmology. The world is literally my oyster!

Week 2

While I'm quite happy with my homepage (and I have a space reserved for the primer when finished), I'm going to continue polishing the elevator pitch. I'd like to remove the "people of the great thinker" line as it's the subtitle of the world and they feel too close to each other.
My world primer is well on it's way but still far from finished. I've been putting off getting a second opinion on it, as I've felt kind of stuck, so that's my priority for the coming week! I'll also be looking at other worlds for inspiration because that's bound to get me going!
As for the CSS... Well, it needs to be re-written from the ground up because it's not mobile first and incredibly messy, but that's definitely not something I'm tackling now! But I'll use my trusty references Theme and BBCode to double check there's nothing hinky going on and make sure I have whatever I might need for the WorldEmber articles ready to go.
