Blackwater Tavern is an alehouse and bakery in Vallaki. Blackwater is owed by Bullregard Vollump. Hildegard Vollump runs the kitchen and serves hand pies from the window of the tavern to folks on the street.
Blackwater Tavern is a central location for gossip amongst the townsfolk as Hildegard's propensity for gossip is second only to Freedric at the Hab and Dash.
The owner Bullregard was killed by the party during the Wachter coup. His wilfe Hilda was imprisoned in the stockade.
