Farvul

Under Construction

Don't mind the blatant work in progress as I rewrite and organize this article

Born on the eastern coast around the small bay, Farvul has lived a remarkable life even before becoming one of the immortals.

History

A poet, a scholar and with a brief sojourn as a sailor before he met Forah and Arshan. Farvul had difficulty figuring out whether he was a shoreward or seaward called Wendyn and spent some time sailing with the Naelasaf before settling on the shore. Initially he returned to his home city of Dhivin to continue his studies, but undertook a voyage (hopping from island to island before crossing the great bay) to the city of Sangzur, which was already a large and prosperous city although the Poervudh Empire did not exist yet.

First Death

It was there in Sangzur that Farvul died for the first time. He had in time become part of an order of scholars of art. Most were focused on visual and textile arts, although his own talents lay largely in the written word and poetry and linguistics were of particular interest to him. Outside the walls of their libraries and salons however, all was not well. The city was increasingly involved in territorial disputes at the time and eventually was invaded. Although Farvul had had some basic training and a little combat experience as a sailor, his skill had never been great and were now rusty. He was quickly overcome as he tried to protect the older scholars.
Farvul came to to see the library in flames and his body strangely unhurt, although his ruined and bloody clothing assured him that the cuts had been no dream or hallucination.
