Cross Family

The Cross Family is an American family of entrepreneurs, businessmen and socialites. They reside in Cape St. Joan, Oregon, and are the owners of Cross Energy Holdings.
Founded by family patriarch Richard Cross in the early 20th century, they are amongst the richest families of Oregon and considered part of the Big Five.

Structure

The Cross family has traditionally been lead by a family patriarch, a role passed on amongst the direct male decendants of Richard Cross. While daughters often have and did hold shares in the family business, the role of CEO and majority shareholder has always been passed on by a system of quasi-male primogeniture.
