Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Esther is pale and despite being surprisingly athletic still looks rather thin, giving her an overall doll-like appearance. Her curly black hair is usually well-groomed and fally down to her shoulders. Still going through puberty, her face suffers from mild acne at the moment.

Personal history

Born the youngest child of Joel and Judie Cross, Esther's upbringing was perhaps her parent's attempt to make up for the percieved mistakes they made during Ruth's early years. However, in over-correcting, they ended up positively spoiling her. Learning she'd always get what she wants, denial would lead to massive temper tantrums thrown by a very young Esther.
Growing up almost sheltered, she had little contact with other people until she entered into elementary school. This sudden change of scenery more than anything else caused Esther to turn into the shy girl she is today, retreating into herself and avoiding conflict whereever possible, as she soon found that due to her background simply avoiding attention was out of the question.
She also became very attached to her younger older brother, who was close enough in age to be seen as both relatable and a protector of sorts. The two youngest siblings who had a strained relationship prior due to Esther's percieved preferential treatment soon became thick as thieves.
In school, learning about other countries, Esther grew fascinated with the sights the world has to offer. As she'd never travel anywhere by herself, her family instead would go on trips with her, usually for occasions such as her birthday.
Despite being young during the events of "D-Day", the attacks and her father's rethoric around them still left its mark on her, making her fearful of supers and their powers.

Intellectual Characteristics

Has been described as a "spoiled princess", though she is of a kind and gentle disposition. She is a bit naive, but otherwise bright and inquisitive. Abhoring arguments and conflict, especially within the family, she is quick to back down when challenged and always strives to find commong ground and mediate between others.
