President of the United States of America
Requirements
To be elligible for the presidency, a person must:
- be a natural-born citizen
- be 35 years or older old
- be a U.S. resident for 14 years
Appointment
The presidency is awared by majority vote in the electoral college, a body of delegates elected by the people of the members states of the United States of America.
Responsibilities
Next to being head of the executive branch of government, the president also acts as Commander-in-Chief of the U.S. armed forces.
