Health Potions can help people stave off the injury and can heal some wounds but magic is not without its limits or risks and these potions do have a side effect if used in access.

Causes

When drinking or coming into direct contact with heal potions while consuming more of the potion than what is required to heal or stop the ailment.

Symptoms

Immunity to Restoration Magic regardless if it is being ingested or applied through potion or spell while not giving any beneficial effects to the person that ingested or applied the potion.

Treatment

The best to deal with this sickness is to not consume any more health potions and to wait off the effects. Depending on if there is time or the situation it is possible to have a healer perform a cleansing ritual that can remove negative effects that have befallen nearby people who are suffering from those effects. If the situation is very dangerous and the healer needs to tends to the wounds of others they cannot perform any rituals. In this case, the sufferer will need to wait for the effects to wear off.

Prognosis

The condition can be fatal if the person that is suffering from it executes the idiotic idea that drinking more health potions will solve the condition that was caused by drinking too many health potions.

Prevention

The best way to prevent the condition is to not drink no more than three health potions, remember everything in moderation.

Cultural Reception

This condition is frowned upon in all cultures as it is caused by drinking too many health potions so most people believe that the sufferer has to have been an idiot to not be reasonable in drinking potions.
