Nobody's entirely sure why the U.S. and Russia decided to unleash their nuclear arsenals, but that was definitely the inciting event.
Principal Geography & Features
Like the western USA, but with California underwater, a big lake occupying the Mississippi River valley, and a lot of radiation.
Initial Active Setting
The game takes place in the American West. Beyond the party's camp, the world is too unstable to be dependable. Over time the party will find new diners, friendly camps, and other spots that they regard as familiar and relativley safe, but the trip to them always includes new surprises.
