A Rockabilly Road Trip Through The American Apocalypse

In 1972, the world nuked itself. Now it's the 1980s and people have started to venture out of the safety of their camps to meet up with other survivors at trading posts called dinertowns that have grown up around restored truckstops and roadside eateries. The road-savvy adventurers who’ve risen to brave the Boomlands on behalf of their camps have acquired the name “Diner Punks.”

Diner punks is an 80s post-nuke road movie with a rockabilly vibe. It's what would happen if you mixed Mad Max with Smokey & The Bandit and gave it a Mojo Nixon soundtrack, what Six String Samurai would look like if it was made by Cannon Films in 1985, and the perfect setting for people who are fans of both Grease and Tank Girl.
